Cedar Crest College celebrated its 150th commencement ceremony. The event was an abbreviated outdoor ceremony held on the steps of Blaney Hall on the Cedar Crest College Campus on Aug. 15.

Local students graduating included:

Kunkletown: Kendra Pekurny, BSN in nursing.

Lehighton: Alyssa Smith, BS in criminal justice.

Palmerton: Sophia Eckroth, BSN in nursing; Caitlyn Kresge, BS in chemistry.

Saylorsburg: Nicole Gava, BS in business administration; Von Streubel, BSN in nursing.

Tamaqua: Brianna Bonetsky, BSN in nursing.

Walnutport: Makenzie Kistler, BS in early childhood education; Alexandra Kuchinos, BS in forensic science; Amy Matla, MSN in nursing.
