State police at Lehighton reported on the incidents investigated by troopers:

• Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Aug. 13 at 6:51 p.m. along Interchange Road at Allen Street in Franklin Township, Carbon County.

The driver, Karl Hunsicker, 44, of Lehighton, was charged with a firearm act offense.

• On Aug. 13 at 8:52 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic along Mahoning Mountain Road and Upper Nis Hollow Drive in Mahoning Township, Carbon County. Troopers said the driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and his passenger for drug possession.

Troopers identified the two suspects as Lucas Boyd, 22, of Palmerton, and Whittney Hibbler, 31, of Hazleton. Troopers did not indicate who was the driver and passenger.
