Eleven New York state residents were cited following an incident that occurred on Aug. 28 in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers responded to a resident along Cress Drive in Chestnuthill Township about 8:54 p.m. for a noise complaint. Troopers noted this was the second time they were dispatched to the residence for a noise complaint that evening.

As a result, 11 residents from New York City and Brooklyn, were issued citations, troopers said.
