State police at Fern Ridge report on incidents

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents:

• On Aug. 22 at 11:04 a.m., troopers responded to Pennell Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for an argument between a 17-year-old female and a 41-year-old man, both of Brodheadsville.

A woman attempted to break up the dispute and was struck in the face, back and stomach by the teen. The teen cited for harassment.

• On Aug. 17 at 2:33 p.m., troopers received a complaint from a resident along Astolat Road in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, concerning multiple garbage bags being dumped on her property. She had to spend her own money to dispose of the bags.

During the course of the investigation, troopers contacted a neighbor, Scott Gins, 67, of Allendale, New Jersey, who police said dumped the garbage bags. He will be cited for scattering rubbish.

• On Aug. 23 at 2:45 p.m., troopers were dispatched to Fox Hill Road in Albrightsville, Carbon County, for a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, the suspect ran from the scene. The victim, a 55-year-old man from Albrightsville, did not have any injuries. The suspect was identified as Brittany Baker, 30, of Albrightsville.

Troopers said charges have been filed against Baker.
