A New Jersey motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Carbon County on Aug. 20 about 12:30 p.m.

State police at Lehighton said Dennis Vaeth, 70, of Fords, was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson along Covered Bridge Road in Lower Towamensing Township, when he was involved in a crash, which troopers said was his fault.

Vaeth was taken to St. Luke’s Lehighton Campus by Palmerton ambulance for treatment of a suspected minor injury.
