Sen. David G. Argall said Sunday he and his wife have tested negative for COVID-19 after he attended groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday in Berks County.

“My wife and I tested at St. Luke’s Urgent Care Center in Lehighton (Friday),” Argall said.

He learned the results earlier this morning. Argall was enjoying a bike ride Sunday.

Argall said U.S. Rep Dan Meuser called him Friday to say he had tested positive for the virus, which he announced Saturday.

“He’s actually feeling pretty well,” he said of Meuser, although Argall said he had not spoken to him today.

Argall said he will self quarantine for a time at the recommendation of medical personnel.
