The upcoming school year may look different because of the pandemic, but Valor wants to help Panther Valley students get their supplies ready for learning.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, volunteers will be at the Lansford Pool Parking Lot on the west end of town for a school supply drive-thru giveaway. The event is open to all Panther Valley School District students. Proof of residency is required.

Students will receive various school supplies from the St. Vincent de Paul Society and donors, toiletries and a bagged lunch courtesy of Battle Borne. St. Luke’s will also be providing fresh produce to families.

The event will be held while supplies last.

Masks are required to those attending.
