State police at Lehighton are investigating a hit-and-run crash that was reported on Aug. 12 at 3:36 p.m. along Stoney Ridge Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

Troopers said the crash occurred on the 1800 block of Stoney Ridge Road when a driver backed into a driveway and struck a parked 1996 Chevrolet S10 truck belonging to a Palmerton resident, then fled the scene.
