New officers of the Garland-Manak-Boyle American Legion Post 123, Lansford, were installed during a ceremony held last night in the post home.

Departing Commander Richard Pogwist led the assemblage, thanking his officers and members for their cooperation throughout the past year.

Leonard Kovatch was sworn in as the new commander. Other officers include John E. Kovatch, first vice commander; Walter Basiago, second vice commander; Elmer E. Davies, adjutant and historian; Jack R. Terry, financial secretary and assistant chaplain; George B. Richards, chaplain; Edwin H. Stickler, treasurer; James Evans, sergeant-at-arms; and Harry J. Wynn III, service officer.
