The Palmerton town council should not waste their time trying to apologize to the Black Lives Matter protesters who had their protest event ruined by the counter protest “patriots.”

The patriots represent the silent majority. It represents World War II vets, Korean vets, Vietnam vets, the most recent Middle East war vets, and the average, everyday American, that is the engine, a V8, that makes this country run.

What part of this country is dependent on Black Lives Matter or Antifa protesters? You are like annoying flies to the sleepy, chained-up junkyard dog you see in movies. He looks sleepy, but keep poking that stick at him and you will learn why he is chained up. That counterprotest was the result of you poking a stick at the junkyard dog. Keep it up, you may find the dog’s chain is broken.

I salute the counterprotesters that swatted the flies in Palmerton Park!
