Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in New Columbus will celebrate the patronal and titular feast of the church on July 16-17 with a civic-religious celebration. The two-day event will also mark the 56th anniversary of the founding of the church as a mission.

Planning the festivities is a committee of 50, headed by Mario Sforza, with Lenny Gogal as co-chairman; James J. Nardozzi, general manager; Rose C. Collura, treasurer; and Mrs. John Lukac, secretary.

Sponsorship of the event is being provided by the Fauzio Brothers, their mother, Rosaria, and sisters, Rose and Mary, working untiringly for the success of the coming old-time, old-fashioned fiesta.
