McAdoo police charged Brian Garcia, 21, of Hazleton, on charges of corruption of minors and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 11:02 p.m. May 2 in the borough.

Police said Garcia was found in an upstairs bedroom of a 13-year-old on East Adams Street, where he was smoking marijuana and offered it to the juvenile. Police said the juvenile refused the offer.

Police said family members smelled the marijuana and went to the juvenile’s room, where they held Garcia in custody until police arrived at the scene.
