State police at Lehighton reported on the following crashes:
• Police reported investigating a head-on crash at 6:30 a.m. on June 11 along Route 209 (Mauch Chunk Road), in Mahoning Township.
Shane Dreher, 65, of Lehighton, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Impala northbound and negotiating a right hand curve when his vehicle crossed the center yellow line and collided head-on into a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 truck driven southbound by Jason C. Stermer, 40, of Palmerton.
Dreher had a minor injury and was treated at the scene by Lehighton ambulance personnel. Stermer was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed. Dreher was cited for the crash.
• Justin D. Hahn, 21, of Palmerton, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:35 p.m. June 17 on Maple Drive in Lower Towamensing Township.
Police said he had minor injuries but was not transported from the scene by emergency medical services personnel.
Police said he was driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza northbound on Maple Drive and was texting on his mobile hand-held device while traveling at a high rate of speed. The car left its lane of travel and crashed into a tree. It was towed from the scene.
Hahn was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
• Jonathan M. Dudak, 19, of Saylorsburg, escaped injuries in a crash at 11:06 a.m. June 12 on Hell Hollow Road in Polk Township.
Police said he was driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza westbound when he swerved to avoid striking a deer that had entered the path of the vehicle. The car went around the deer and crashed into a tree.
The car was towed from the scene.
