Remember when you cast your vote

As election season approaches, many believe the outcome in November will hinge on how each party responded to the current pandemic and riots. To review:

Democrats called President Trump’s China travel ban “racist,” “xenophobic” and said it would not work.

Democrats stalled the passage of the first COVID stimulus, and the checks to the American people that ultimately were part of it, to try to include programs mandating diversity and requiring energy companies to buy carbon credits.

The Democratic governors in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey mandated that nursing home residents who tested positive for the virus be returned to their facilities, where the most vulnerable population resided, even though hospital beds were available.

The Democrat Health Secretary in Pennsylvania did move her 95-year-old mother from a personal care home into a hotel while the above mandate remained in effect.

The Democratic governor in Pennsylvania granted waivers for businesses to remain open but refused to provide the criteria used, the names of businesses granted waivers or those that were refused.

He also threatened the professional licenses of small-business owners such as hair salons and restaurants that wanted to reopen in Schuylkill County with the support of local officials and the three major hospital systems in the area.

A Democrat in Texas jailed a salon owner who refused to apologize for opening her business so she could feed her family. A Republican freed her.

Democrats in cities across the nation watched their cities be looted and burned rather than allow police to respond and protect their citizens. Small-business owners and police officers were beaten and killed as a result. Democrats are now calling to defund police departments.

Afterward, Gov. Wolf violated the mandates he placed on everyone else to march with protesters who carried signs such as “Blue lives murder.”

Remember what Democrats did during times of crisis and cast your vote, for Republicans.
