The Diocese of Allentown will hold a prayer service for reconciliation in our nation at 7 p.m. Friday at the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena in Allentown.

People from throughout the diocese are invited to participate in prayers for healing the wounds of all the divisions present in our society.

As in attendance at Mass, social distancing guidelines, including the wearing of masks, will be in place at the prayer service. At 25% percent of capacity, 150 people will be able to attend.

Bishop Alfred Schlert will preside at the service. The homilist will be Msgr. Thomas Orsulak, pastor of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Reading.
