A Carbon County man is facing charges following an incident at a Luzerne County store.

State police at Hazleton said troopers were dispatched at 12:32 p.m. on June 9 to the Walmart store along Airport Road in Hazle Township to a report of a man refusing to leave the store. On scene troopers found Christian Bennett, 30, of Weatherly, lying on a shelf. He refused to leave the property and damaged the shelf.

Bennett was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Damages to the shelf were estimated at $69.
