State Police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following arrests made by troopers in Monroe County:

• On May 8 at 10:47 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Appenzell Terrace in Jackson Township for a disturbance. Troopers learned that Jordan Guschel, 29, of East Stroudsburg, and a 27-year-old woman had a verbal alteration due to Guschel having the woman’s phone.

She tried to retrieve it and was pushed to the ground by Guschel on two separate occasions.

It was also learned that Guschel had two active warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the county prison on the warrants and charged with harassment - physical contact, for the incident with female.

• On May 21 at 11:56 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Grand Mesa Drive in Chestnuthill Township, for a reported domestic dispute.

An investigation revealed that Christopher McCall, 28, of Mount Bethel, and a 26-year-old woman, also of Mount Bethel, became involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical with McCall pushing the female to the ground.

He fled the scene prior to the arrival of troopers.

Troopers said a charge of harassment - physical contact, was filed against McCall.
