State police at Lehighton report on incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:

• Two Monroe County residents were cited following a domestic dispute.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to Carney Road in Polk Township at 11:47 a.m. on May 27 for a report of a disturbance. Troopers said Michelle Rizzi, 36, of Kresgeville, and Brian Snyder, no age given, of Kunkletown, got into a verbal/physical domestic dispute over belongings during which both subjects shoved and yelled at each other. Both were cited for harassment - physical contact.

• Troopers said a metal grate was stolen from a grease container at the property of Buffalo Biodiesel, located at 539 Interchange Road, in Polk Township. The value of the grate was estimated at $5.

• State police made a traffic stop at 1:17 a.m. May 29 at the intersection of Koch Road and Whitey B Drive in Towamensing Township resulted in the driver being charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said after they stopped the 1998 Plymouth Neon, the driver refused all chemical testing to determine the extent of his impaired status and was charged accordingly. Police did not release his name.
