State police at Stroudsburg reported the following:

• A one-vehicle crash happened at 8:20 a.m. on May 25 along Interstate 80 in Pocono Township, Monroe County, involving a state police cruiser.

Troopers said Tristn L. Bennett, 33, of Blakeslee, was driving a 2015 Ford police cruiser eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. He was unable to avoid the animal and struck it. Bennett was not injured but the cruiser was towed.

• Police reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 5:23 a.m. on Monday along Interstate 80 in Pocono Township.

Troopers said Jamel A. Cannon, 37, of Tobyhanna, was driving a 2019 Subaru Impreza westbound in the center lane when a deer entered the road in front of him. He was unable to avoid the animal and struck it. Cannon was not injured.
