State police at Frackville report incidents

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers:

• Troopers said they received a report from the management at Auto Zone, located off Route 309 in Rush Township, that a woman attempted to purchase a seat cover with a fake $100 bill. The incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

• Troopers said a criminal mischief incident was investigated on May 28 at 8:45 a.m. along West Ogden Street in Girardville. Troopers said the woman said several windows on her vehicle were smashed. A witness heard glass smashing during the time of the incident and then saw a white man, about 5-feet, 10-inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants running away from the vehicle involved. It was reported he was holding a wooden croquet club. The car is registered to EZ Rent A Car of Pottsville.

• On May 27 at 1:15 p.m. an incident of terroristic threats was investigated along interstate 81 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County. Troopers said a woman from Ephrata, and a man from Carlisle, both 20, reported observing a vehicle being driven erratically. The victims reported the vehicle in question pulled next to them and a passenger in it, a Hispanic male, pointed a silver and black pistol at their vehicle. The suspect vehicle was reported to be a light blue Hyundai Sante Fe with a Florida registration, Z754ED. The vehicle was last seen exiting the interstate at Exit 116, Minersville. No injuries were reported.

• A 31-year-old man from New Philadelphia, reported on May 25 about noon, that his ATM card had been stolen and two fraudulent transactions were initiated after the card went missing. The investigation is continuing.
