Joshua L. Danner, 21, of Tamaqua, was charged by state police at Hazleton for leaving the scene of a crash and failure to drive at a safe speed as a result of a one-vehicle crash at 1:13 a.m. May 5 on the Quakake Road (Route 93) in Packer Township.

Police said he was driving a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee east when he turned sharply in the straightaway, causing the Jeep to roll over and sustain heavy damage. Police said Danner walked away from the crash. He was uninjured.
