State police at the Fern Ridge barracks issued several drug related charges in various incidents recently.

• Troopers charged two men with drug possession after a traffic stop at 10:48 a.m. May 10 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

Adrian Valerio, 21, of Hazleton, and Angel Alvarez, 21, of McAdoo, are facing the charges after they admitted ownership of six packages of marijuana that were found inside the 2015 Infiniti that was searched after the traffic stop.

• Kendall Hayes, 37, of New York, was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop at 1:56 p.m. May 14 on Route 903 in Kidder Township.

Police said probable cause to search the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was established during the stop, after which time Hayes was found to be in possession of marijuana.
