Lehighton state police report incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the incidents investigated by troopers:

• On May 22, at 12:07 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 200 block of Pine Street, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a reported assault. A 37-year-old woman from Palmerton, said her boyfriend, Darrin Griffin, no age or address given, had bit her and left in her vehicle. Troopers said they got into a pursuit with Griffin. An arrest warrant for simple assault - bodily injury, was secured. Griffin was subsequently taken into custody on May 23.

• On May 23 about 10:52 p.m. troopers responded to the 8700 block of W. Nottingham Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a domestic in progress. Troopers determined that a minor mutual scuffle had occurred involving two men, ages 19 and 23, from Kunkletown, and Santiago Monserrat, no age or address given. As a result Monserrat was cited for two counts of harassment with physical contact and one count each of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
