Mr. and Mrs. George Bevich and Mrs. Celia Lynn, parents and maternal grandmother of the late A2/C George Bevich, a Vietnam War victim, were guests of honor during a special dedication ceremony in the Summit Hill American Legion Post Home on Sunday afternoon.

During that ceremony, the name of the late serviceman was added to the post’s name. The post will now be known as the Davis-Lawton-Yurko-Breslin-Bevich American Legion Post 316.

Commander Thomas Gallagher was in charge of the services while Chaplain Michael Melley offered a prayer in memory of all those who have mad the supreme sacrifice for our country.
