Carbon County Friends of Animals is having a Memorial Day Drive-thru Picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the shelter, 77 W 13th St, Jim Thorpe.

The menu includes either a hot dog or hamburger platter with three butter and onion pierogies and a choice of drink and chips or cookies. Cash or check only.

If you bring an item from the wish list, which can be found on the nonprofit’s website, you will be entered into a basket raffle drawing, which will be held after the event. Donarions sought include cleaning supplies, cat food, cat litter and more.

Preorders for food are encouraged.
