A young woman escaped serious injury early Saturday morning involved in a crash in Mahoning Township. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. as she was traveling north in the 1700 block of Fritz Valley Road. She drove around a curve, crossed the road and hit several objects on the side of the road before rolling on its side. She was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident. The Mahoning Valley fire company responded to the scene.
