A Luzerne County man was jailed following a domestic incident in Lehigh County.

State police at Bethlehem said troopers responded to a residence at Usina Court, Washington Township, at 2:55 a.m. on May 14 for a reported domestic altercation.

Police said Lorenzo Wallace, 30, of Kingston, and a 33-year-old woman from Slatington engaged in an argument and Wallace attacked her on top of her bed. He climbed on top of the woman and put his hands on her face to pin her to the bed. Wallace held her there for about five minutes, with the woman sustaining a cut, a nosebleed and bruising. Wallace then fled the scene when police were called.

A warrant for his arrest was obtained. On May 16 Kingston police took Wallace into custody and he was turned over to troopers. He was brought back to Lehigh County and arraigned on assault and related charges. He was placed in the county prison in Allentown.
