The 67th annual banquet of the Lansford Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star was held on Saturday night at the Edgemont Lodge, Lansford.

The toastmistress, Ruth Pecha, opened the program with the invocation by Olga Mock, P.M., followed by Worthy Matron Carol Miller giving the welcoming address and introducing Grand Chapter Appointmentees, including Barbara Pecha, Helen Hicks, J. Marilyn Miller and Effie Stickler.

Two Gold Star members, Marvel Jeffries and Margaret McCready, were honored and received their Gold Star pins.

Entertainment was provided by James Telepchak, a senior tenor from Panther Valley High School, and the Rev. James Goudie, well-known ventriloquist.
