A Schuylkill County woman was seriously injured when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer on Tuesday morning. State police at Frackville said the crash occurred at 10:34 a.m. along Mountain Road in Blythe Township.

Troopers said Marcia R. Donlin, 29, of Middleport, was driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy southbound when crossed over into the northbound lane where Timothy P. Carr, 50, Parsons, West Virginia, was drivng a 2020 Kenworth tractor with trailer northbound. Carr attempted to avoid a head-on collision and swerved but the Subaru still struck the rear axle of the trailer.

Emergency responders had to free Donlin from the wreckage. She was then flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Carr was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers said Donlin was cited for the crash.
