St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 9 N. Railroad St., Nesquehoning will be ringing church bells at 7 p.m. Sunday as part of “Bells Across Pennsylvania Day,” an initiative of the Pennsylvania State Mayors’ Association.

The bells are encouraged to be rung for three minutes, one minute for each for front-line workers, elected officials and residents and to show resolve that Pennsylvanians will prevail over COVID-19 and thrive again.
