Brody Schrantz, 11, had a good day on the opening day of Youth Spring Turkey Season.
He harvested a nice Gobbler with a 9 5/8” Beard,3/4” Spurs, and weighted 21 lbs. while hunting with his Pop Ed Lewis in Penn Forest Township.
The bird was called in with a slate called and shot with a 20 gauge using 4 shot hi-brass at 37 yards.
Brody is the son of Eric and Kristen Schrantz of Jim Thorpe.
