Zion Lutheran

Zion Lutheran Church in Tamaqua is hosting an online evening of music at 7:30 p.m. today on YouTube and its website www.ziontamaqua.com. Look for the link TOGETHER. Music will be provided by organists Sandy Mehalko and Patrick McMullin and vocalists Joe Mehalko and Pastor Cindy White. The evening closes with a sing-along hymn. The event will be recorded and available for viewing on the Zion’s Facebook page on Sunday.

Hometown Fire Auxiliary

The Hometown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary has postponed both its meeting schedule for May 4 and its summer social scheduled for June 1.

The organization’s next meeting will be on Sept. 14 at Basile’s in Hometown. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow at 7 p.m. For more information, call 610-704-7288.
