Schuylkill Haven police report

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• Sierra Wagner, 24, of Ashland, was charged by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks for driving under the influence of alcohol after an incident at 3:31 p.m. March 21 at 147 S. Front St., Wayne Township.

Police said they were summoned there to investigate a complaint of a reckless driver on Route 443 in the township and ended up arresting Wagner.

• Troopers said at 4:29 a.m. on April 21 they were dispatched, along with Pottsville police, to the L & K Construction, located at Gordon Nagle Trail and Red Horse Road, North Manheim Township, for a burglary in progress. An unknown man was observed inside the construction site via wireless surveillance cameras.

On scene troopers took James Reedy, 41, of Lykens, Dauphin County, into custody as he attempted to flee. He was charged with burglary and related offenses.

• On April 23 at 12:53 a.m. while on patrol troopers spotted two vehicles in a wooded area on private property along Peach Mountain Road in Norwegian Township. Leah Miller, 20, and Christian Starr, 18, both of Pottsville, were located coming out of the woods. Both were charged with simple trespass.

• Troopers reported an incident that occurred on April 8 at 12:59 a.m. at a residence along Mabel Road in Barry Township. Troopers said Samuel Hepler, 22, of Ashland, and a 21-year-old woman from Gordon, engaged in a verbal argument. Hepler threatened to distribute sexually explicit photos of the woman. The victim attempted to get help from Hepler’s mother. Hepler then grabbed the victim and held her with his arms wrapped around her and pinned her to the ground. During the altercation Hepler took the victim’s phone by force from her hand. The victim was able to get free and fled to a neighbor’s home and called 911.

Troopers said Hepler has been charged with robbery/purse snatch with force.
