A Beaver Meadows man has been charged by state police at the Hazleton barracks on charges relating to a theft on March 19 in Hazle Township.

Brandon Samler, 30, is charged with receiving stolen property after police said he had numerous tools and equipment valued at $1,629 that were stolen from Harry’s U-Pull It and another property.

The equipment included various wrenches, grinders, a battery, miscellaneous tools and a five-gallon bucket of change that had about $300 in it.

Police said a 2009 Jeep was involved in the incident but did not say whether or not the vehicle stolen.
