State police at Lehighton reported a crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Friday along Fireline Road in Bowmanstown, Carbon County.

Troopers said the driver of a vehicle lost control of the slick roadway through a curve, then went onto the berm and hit a fence and utility pole.

The occupants of the vehicle were identified as William Harkleroad, Melissa Gottfried, Marson White and a female juvenile, all from Palmerton.

Troopers said three of the occupants sustained suspected minor injuries and were taken to the Lehighton hospital by Lehighton ambulances. Troopers did not identify who were injured and did not identify the driver of the vehicle.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by volunteers from the Towamensing and Aquashicola fire companies. The vehicle had to be towed.
