A Bethlehem woman died in a one-vehicle crash at 4:21 p.m. Saturday on Route 22, at the Route 33 southbound on-ramp in Bethlehem Township.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks said Jennifer Nicole Morales, 36, was pronounced dead at the St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Police said she was driving a 2000 Honda Civic eastbound in the left lane of travel when she lost control of the car. Police said the car went into the right lane of travel and onto the Route 33 on/off ramp and berm before impacting a guardrail.

Police said the vehicle then rotated clockwise and hit the guardrail with its driver’s side and driver’s side rear-end. It traveled across the ramp before coming to rest in the right lane of travel of Route 22 facing southwest.

Police said the car sustained extensive damages and was towed from the scene. The on-ramp was closed for approximately two hours while crews cleared the scene.
