The Master Gardeners of Penn State Extension Lehigh and Northampton counties are selling spring native plants that will help attract beneficial pollinators to your garden.

Three separate kits for wet, dry and clay are available. Each $30 kit contains nine plants. Kit #1 – Moisture for Moi includes three each Golden Alexanders, Cardinal Flower and Turtlehead; Kit #2 – Dreamin’ Dry Dirt includes three each of Spotted Beebalm, False Sunflower, Oxeye and Aromatic Aster; Kit #3 – Okay Livin’ in Clay, three each of Rattlesnake Master, Blazing Star and Helen’s Flower.

To order plants, mail a check payable to Lehigh County Extension with your name, address, email, phone number and plant kit selection to Penn State Extension Lehigh County, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Allentown, PA 18104. Place orders by May 22 because limited quantities are available.

Preordered plant kits will be available for pickup via drive-thru on June 6 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Penn State Extension Lehigh County, 4184 Dorney Park Road. If for any reason a plant should not be available, an appropriate substitution will be supplied.
