Fern Ridge State police investigate crashes

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating the following crashes:

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 11:56 a.m. on April 9 along Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said a 17-year-old female from Tannersville was operating a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder when it crashed. The teen, another 17-year-old female and Kimberly L. Smith, 47, also of Tannersville, sustained suspected minor injuries and treated at the scene.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:24 a.m. April 14 along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Sheena T. Dalton, 35, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, was driving a 2017 Mercedes-Benz B200 westbound when the vehicle left the road on the right side and hit the guard rail. After impact the vehicle traveled 20 feet and struck a tree where it came to rest.

Dalton and her passenger, Scott B. Matthews, 25, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, sustained suspected minor injuries and were transport to the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, Luzerne County, by Lake Harmony ambulance. The vehicle had to be towed.

Dalton was cited for the crash.
