State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of guns from a Carbon County location.

An Easton man told police seven handguns were removed from a residence he owns on the 1400 block of S. River St., in East Side borough. The theft was reported at 1:27 p.m. April 8.

The guns are valued at over $1,200. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
