Monroe County police incidents

Police reported on the following incidents in Monroe County:

• A man was cited for harassment at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday.

State police at Stroudsburg responded to a residence along Manor Drive in Hamilton Township.

James R. Clemens, 83, of Effort, had struck a 95-year-old woman from Cresco. Clemens was issued a citation for harassment - physical contact.

• State police at Fern Ridge cited Robert Machrone, 59, of Stroudsburg, for a dog law violation after his dog left his property and bit a victim.

Police said the incident happened at 8:04 p.m. April 4 on the 1500 block of Penn Forest Lane, Jackson Township.

• State police at Fern Ridge investigated a hit-and-run crash on April 9 at 4:43 p.m. along Route 715 in Jackson Township.

Laurie J. Comstock, 41, of Henryville, was driving a 2001 Saturn L200 when her vehicle was struck in the rear by another vehicle. The other driver fled the scene. Comstock and her passenger, David M. Comstock, 40, same address, were not injured.

The hit-and-run vehicle was a gold sport utility vehicle with damage to the front right side. Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
