Robert Nielson, 59, of Pocono Lake, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:57 p.m. April 6 on Interstate 80 eastbound in Kidder Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said he was driving a 2000 Toyota Camry and was traveling about 60 mph when the rear stabilizer bar of the vehicle snapped.

Nielson lost control, went off the right side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.

Nielson was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
