Police report on Schuylkill arrests

State police at Frackville reported on the following arrests made by troopers following incidents in Schuylkill County.

• On April 5 at 6:53 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Valley Road, Tamaqua, in Walker Township, for a domestic dispute. On scene troopers learned a verbal argument turned physical. As a result a 71-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were both cited for harassment - physical contact. Troopers declined to identify the suspects.

• On April 4 at 12:07 a.m. troopers responded to the area of 35 Schuylkill Ave., West Mahanoy Township, for a disabled vehicle report. The driver, identified as Joel Santana, 22, of Shenandoah, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. DUI charges are pending.

On April 4 at 3:16 a.m. troopers responded to East Spring Street in West Mahanoy Township. Troopers said John Hysock, 43, of Frackville, was seen and heard firing two shots from a gun into a wooded area off the back porch of his residence in a residential area. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
