Egg hunts

Both Easter Egg Hunts have been canceled. They may be held at a future date. Here’s a new egg hunt update! Beginning April 1 through 12, children are invited to decorate large paper Easter eggs and put them in the window. You may then take a walk or drive and see how many eggs you can find. Enjoy!

Concourse Club basket social

The Spring Fling Basket Social sponsored by the Concourse Club has been canceled until further notice.

Nearly New Thrift Store

The St. Luke’s Nearly New Store will remain closed until further notice. Please do not leave anything at the door.

PHS Class of 1970

The Palmerton Area High School Class of 1970 reunion has been changed to Nov. 7. Updated letters have been mailed out to classmates. The location, menu and timeline all remain the same. Please call JoAnne King at 610-377-5326 if you have any questions.

Jerusalem UCC

Jerusalem United Church, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will not hold Palm Sunday services in the church building. They will livestream on Facebook. Plan for a 11 a.m. start time. The video will also be on the website.

The Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services will also not be held in the church building as a group. Please watch on Facebook for updates for online services for those dates.

St. John’s Lutheran Church

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton will again be hosting a 10:30 a.m. drive-in worship service on Palm Sunday, April 5. Pastor Jody will lead the service through an amplification system in the parking lot so all can hear. Come and join this special event.
