A Carbon County woman is the victim of an identity theft incident.

State police at Hazleton said a 64-year-old woman from Weatherly had her credit card information was accessed by unknown persons who then used it to make fraudulent purchases from Walmart.com. Purchases totaled $156.66.

The investigation is continuing, troopers said.
