Frackville state police report on arrests
State police at Frackville reported on the following arrests made by troopers at Schuylkill County locations:
Two people were arrested on warrants at the Walmart store in Rush Township. At 8 p.m. Saturday, Jason Oshman, 32, of Shenandoah, and Heather Bowden, 32, of Kaska, were observed in the store by asset protection officers. Oshman had a warrant issued for his arrest out of Mahanoy Township on pending drug charges. He was taken into custody and arraigned before on-call District Judge Stephen Bayer of Tamaqua, He was committed to the county prison unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail. Additional charges of drug possession will also be filed, troopers added.
Bowden was also taken into custody on three outstanding bench warrants issued to the district attorney’s office. She was placed in the county prison on the warrants. Additional charges of drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass will also be filed.
Troopers were assisted by Tamaqua and Mahanoy Township police.
• On March 29 at 1:27 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Barnesville Drive in Ryan Township for a active domestic incident. On scene troopers took Harold Allen, 51, of Barnesville, into custody. He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Bayer and committed to the county prison on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment, after failing to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
• On March 25 at 9:45 p.m. troopers responded to East Oak Street in West Mahanoy Township for a report of a verbal and physical altercation. Through an investigation it was learned that Randy Williams, 64, of Frackville, subjected Tracy Baney, 38, of Frackville, to physical contact and that Baney threatened Williams to do the same to him. Both were issued citations.
• On March 27 about 1:15 a.m. a case of harassment was investigated at a residence along Chestnut Street, in Ashland. As a result a 41-year-old man from Ashland, who troopers declined to identify, was cited for harassment - physical contact. He was charged with shoving a 41-year-old female, from Ashland, during an argument.
