A Nesquehoning woman arrested twice for possession of a controlled substance in 2019 was sentenced to time served to 11 months in Schuylkill County Prison, in a ruling by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin March 19.
Stephanie Barron
, 38, was arrested June 26 by Coaldale Police and Sept. 27 by McAdoo Police. Since she had already served 16 days, she was paroled. Fines and costs total $300.
Joseph B. Franz,
32, Mary D had his parole revoked March 19 by Judge William E. Baldwin. Franz had been arrested by Tamaqua Police on Feb. 28, 2018, on a charge of theft by unlawful taking. He had entered a guilty plea to that charge on Aug. 9, 2019, and was sentenced to 59 days to 23 months.
With his parole revoked, he was returned to Schuylkill County Prison with a new max date of Nov. 1, 2021.
