The Tamaqua Area School District, in partnership with the Nutrition Group, will continue to offer all Tamaqua Area children 18 and under who live in the district, a free “Grab-n-Go” bagged lunch and breakfast.

Meals will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Distribution will be at the Tamaqua Middle School/High School loading dock on Mondays and Thursdays beginning on March 30. Three breakfasts and lunches will be included on Mondays and four of the same will be distributed on Thursdays.

Students do not need to qualify for free or reduced lunch to participate. Pickup is between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The food offerings include sandwiches, salads, heat-at-home items (pizza, chicken nuggets, burgers, pancakes), fruit, vegetables, milk, juice and other breakfast items.
