Faith Roberts participates in NYC chamber choir trip

Faith Roberts, of Kunkletown, is one of 12 Lebanon Valley College students who recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York.

The students participated in a festival chorus conducted by Dr. Lynda Hasseler and organized by Manhattan Concert Productions, who invited the LVC students to participate because of the strong reputation of the LVC choral program.

The festival chorus, consisting of six different choirs, performed Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem complete with chamber orchestra on the historic stage. The students prepared for weeks leading up to the trip, which also included visiting the sights of the city and attending Broadway musicals.

Dr. Kyle Zeuch sponsored the trip and traveled with the students over spring break.

Roberts, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in music education at Lebanon Valley College.
