State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a hit-and-run crash at 2:02 p.m. March 18 in Monroe County.

The crash occurred along Gilbert Road in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said John Lattimore, 60, of Effort, was northbound while another vehicle was traveling southbound.

As the two vehicles approached each other, the side mirrors on both vehicles struck each other.

Both drivers stopped, but the second driver then fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Lattimore was driving a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and the hit-and-run vehicle was a Ford F150 truck.
