Mark Leffler of Lehighton was re-elected chairman of the Carbon County Hospital Authority on the occasion of the annual meeting held in the conference room of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

Joining Leffler in leading the authority are Carmen F. DiBiaso, Lehighton, vice chairman, and Norman Richards, Jim Thorpe, secretary-treasurer. Attorney Murray Mackson, of Palmerton, is the board’s legal counsel.

During the meeting, Richard Hudson, president of the hospital, reported on the bond refinancing process recently completed, saying the refinancing resulted in the hospital generating a savings of approximately $68,000 per year over the life of the issue.
